Young Beginners

There are five Young Beginners Centres throughout the Yorkshire County - The Oaks GC, Wike Ridge GC (Leeds Golf Centre), Huddersfield GC, Pike Hills GC and Abbeydale GC.

The Yorkshire Ladies County Golf Association has a Coaching Pathway framework. 'Young Beginners’ is a starting point for junior girls, under 14 years of age, who are members of clubs or affiliated to the YLCGA. 8 hours of summer coaching is provided at the 5 centres across the County . The cost is £4 per hour. Young Beginners can springboard promising girls to further tiers of County coaching with four excellent PGA Professionals.
